Design+building a second pop-up park location for Woodland Park Communities (in collaboration with @sitelaburbanstudio and @lizogbu). We brought design boards to their annual Easter Egg hunt event last weekend so families could vote on the elements they want in their new park. We’re always so impressed by the turn out with this active, awesome community! Researchers and architects from @ethzurich have created a house that is code compliant and built by robots through 3D printing, atomization, and digital fabrication. Super cool fabrication project for @everlane using the unusual and incredibly beautiful @molo_studio paper. 😍💙💙Creating a stable, lightweight top on this rather delicate material was a fun challenge. Any guesses how we did it?

If you’re in the area be sure to check out the brand new 1951 Coffee Kiosk right outside the downtown Berkeley Bart Station. 1951 Coffee is a non-profit that provides job training and employment to refugees, asylees, and special immigrant visa holders while also educating the surrounding community. Oh, and they make a delicious cup of coffee!
