The Vapor Room, one of the city’s original medical cannabis dispensaries, was shut down in 2012 amid a federal crackdown. Over the next seven years, as the industry and the laws surrounding it continued to evolve, President Martin Olive, worked toward reopening. When the path finally opened, he reached out to LMNOP for help in bringing it to life. Olive had decked out the original location on Haight with vintage 1970s lounge furniture that had a “stoner-uncle’s-basement” vibe. It’s now been reincarnated at Ninth and Mission with a clean, modern vibe that is as cool as it is comfortable, inviting shoppers to take their time, take a seat, and enjoy their wares.
